The third season premiere of Battlestar Galactica on Friday night had had 2.2 million viewers which was down from 3.5 million for last seasons premiere. The show which was on from 9 to 11 pm was the number one cable show on Friday. Rumors are still going around that NBC plans to use Battlestar Galactica as a midseason replacement show for the network. If the rumors are true it will be interesting to see if the lower ratings for the season premiere change NBC’s decision to show it on the NBC network.
