The HBO hit “The Sopranos” sixth season is going to be first television show to be released on the new high definition format called HD DVD. The HD DVD will be released on November 7th of this year which is the same day that the regular DVD will be released in the US. The cost for the HD DVD will be $129.99 which is $30 more than the regular dvd set. The BLU-Ray DVD which is a competive high definition from Sony will be released in 2007.
