Apple TV Plus has released the trailer for its Spring 2021 slate of originals and. I must say some of them look real interesting. Apple was criticized at first for having some good programming but not a huge amount of content which is most likely why the service was priced at $4.99 a month.
From the trailer it looks like they are stepping it up even with production hampered by the COVID-19 pandemic. Apple has deep pockets and, so far they seem to be in it for the long run their programming so if could become a very interesting service. (Check out the trailer below)
One issue for the channel is the content looks very well done like you would see on HBO in the past the question is with Tim Cook’s insistence on being family friendly will that hurt the channel in the long run.
Because of Apple’s deep pockets as streaming services start to merge they could go it alone and, slowly build a large audience the streaming wars could be very interesting.
