December 26th 2022: Bob Costa has been a long time staple at HBO over the years with his shows such as On The Record with Bob Costas that ran from 2001 to 2005 and Costas Now which ran from 2005 until 2009. Bob Costas returned to the network with his recent show Back On The Record with Bob Costas which has just been canceled after two seasons.
Since the merger of Warner Bros and Discovery many shows have been canceled in order to save money and this might just be the latest victim of the cost cutting. The legendary sportscaster was making four episodes a year of the current show where he had in depth conversations with people from sports, entertainment as well as general pop culture figures.
