CNN New Years Eve Forgets Midnight For Central Time Zone

January 1st 2023: In recent days there has been much discussion about CNN not allowing to drink alcohol on its annual New Years Eve live countdown show. The idea was to stop drunk behavior getting on air but in a year that has been terrible for CNN they still were able to mess up on the show alcohol or no alcohol.

As usual during the live show they show the countdown to midnight live in New York with the ball drop. The they move across the country doing the countdown for the Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones. When they got to the Central time zone they show CNN anchor Don Lemon dancing among the throng of partiers in New Orleans.

As Don Lemon throw beads in the crowd he seemed to notice seconds after midnight that they had missed the countdown. They then showed images of fireworks and people hugging in Nashville even though Don Lemon and CNN partying in New Orleans missed the countdown.
