Dan Rather Appears On CNN not CBS

July 9th 2006: Dan Rather the former longtime CBS correspondent and anchor of the CBS Evenning News appeared recently on television to talk about visiting North Korea last October for CBS’s 60 Minutes. The interesting part about the story is that he talked about it on CNN on the show 360 With Anderson Cooper. Dan Rather left CBS after his contract wasn’t renewed and I wonder by appearing on CNN was he sending a signal to CBS or maybe he was appearing their because a CBS show wouldn’t book him..
