This Thursday is the finale of the first season of “Latin American Idol.” This version of “Idol” premiered in July and is shown in 24 countries in Central and South America as well as the Caribbean. The 10 finalists were competing for a Sony BMG recording contract with the final two competing this Thursday night. The show has done so well that plans for a second season are in the works.
