Yesterdays Monday Night Football game on ESPN was the highest rated show ever on ESPN. The game between the New Orleans Saints who had there first home game since hurricane Katrina and Atlanta drew an audience of 10.8 million. This was the third straight week that Monday Night Football broke ESPN’s viewership recond. The game was the highest rated programme on any channel broadcast or cable for the night. After moving Monday Night Football from sister network ABC where it was losing money to ESPN they seem so far to have made the right decision.
