PBS has announced that they will air a new seven part epic documentary from Ken Burns about World War II in September of 2007. The documentary called simply “The War” will have vivid eyewitness accounts of life on the front lines during the war. It will also showcase the life of the people left behind in the United States while their fathers, sons and brothers were gone. The narration of the documentary will be by some of Americas greatest actors such as including Tom Hanks and Samuel L Jackson.
