"Real World 18" Debut Has Lower Ratings

The latest installment of MTV’s “Real World” the 18th installment this time set in Denver debuted to lower ratings. The show debuted with 1.56 million viewers in its new Wednesday night slot compared with 3.33 million viewers of the last edition which was set in Key West, Florida. The last edition was on Tuesday nights so maybe some of the audience missed the debut although MTV did do heavy promotion of the new time. The next few weeks will be interesting because MTV repeats the show often so we will see if other viewers get hooked or if this long time hit show is drawing to an end. This show was reality tv before that term even existed and I hope the show survives.
