The first full trailer from the Real World Homecoming: New York has been released by Paramount Plus the new network replacing CBS All Access on March 4th. The Real World Homecoming: New York gets the original seven roommates back together after 29 years for a limited run series.
The Real World was the ground breaking show that really started the current reality television genre where the young roommates would be filmed constantly over several months living together to show the fun times as well as often drama. Recent seasons of the show are mainly just drunk people doing stupid things, hooking up and, fighting with the show losing a lot of its charm.
The seven cast mates in this original series had deep conversations as they tried to relate to each other with a cast from greatly different backgrounds. The cast of the original series didn’t have other seasons to look back on so they weren’t changing their behavior to look better on camera.
The seven cast mates returning are Eric Niles, julie Gentry, Kevin Powell, Becky Blasband, Norman Korpi, Heather B Gardner as well as Andre Comeau.
Amazingly the seven cast mates are returning to the exact same townhouse which Paramount Plus was able to get as the original MTV production used. The trailer shows drama and upset people as well as flashbacks to the original show check it out below.
