The show that really started the reality show genre MTV’s Real World is returning to where it all begun with a Real World New York Reunion Show premiering tonight on Paramount Plus streaming service.
Paramount Plus if you haven’t seen one of the numerous commercials is the CBS All Access service with a lot more content from the Viacom side of the the company from its various cable networks such as MTV.
In the 29 years since the Real World debuted on MTV the reality genre has really expanded and has become a television staple. This reunion show brings back the cast from the very first season in New York with the whole cast returning.
The cast of this first season had no clue what they were in for, unlike the following seasons which could watch reruns of earlier seasons. I did watch that first season, yes I’m old and, will be looking forward to watching to see what happened to the cast.
