NBC has announced that they are ordering an additional nine episodes of their struggling show “Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip” which will make a full season of twenty two episodes. The show which is one of the most expensive to produce has struggled from the start with the last episode only getting 7.7 million viewers in its Monday 10pm time slot. The audience it does get is said to include a large percentage that make over $75,000 per year which is attractive to advertisers so maybe that is a reason that NBC is standing behind the show for now and giving it every chance.
