First up was the return of the original members of the Real World New York cast in a short run series on Paramount Plus, today we have the return of another MTV reality show The Challenge. This edition of The Challenge is an all star edition with some of the popular or infamous members of the Real World and Road Rules alumni.
The alumni returning to battle the various extreme challenges include people such as Trishelle Cannatella as well as Ruthie Alcaide in the nine episode series that was filmed in Andes Mountains in Argentina.. The cast also includes some people that having competed on the show in more than two decades plus there will be the usual drama as people reunite old feuds or start new ones.
The competitions are crazy and, often involve being high off the ground but there is a huge price at the end $500,000 which is very impressive for a streaming show. The first episode drops on Paramount Plus today if you want to check it out and, live a little MTV nostalgia, the show is hosted by TJ Lavin.
