January 6th 2022: In recent days there has been lots of talk about if Netflix’s hit show Wednesday is staying on Netflix or moving to Amazon Prime. The question came up because the show is produced by MGM Television which is now owned by Amazon.
The show has been a huge hit for Netflix with 1.2 billion views in the first month alone on the streamer. The deal with Wednesday for Netflix was made long before Amazon took over MGM so the show would be under the existing deal with the shows producers. When the existing deal expires yes anything is possible but Netflix is unlikely to let a hit show go to a major competitor. In the video below just released by Netflix it looks like season two of Wednesday will be on Netflix now all the fans just have to wait for season two.
